4. Does your company have any Foreign Ownership or Foreign

Controlling Interest?

No foreign ownership or controlling interest

5. Does your company have experience operating in a cleared environment?

If so, please provide additional information.

Bialek’s largest vertical that we service is the Federal Government.

As MillerKnoll’s largest government provider nationwide, Bialek has extensive experience supporting agencies under the DOD and DHS umbrella that require clearance and/or escorted clearance.

Bialek holds a nationwide, 5 year, $100M Blanket Purchase Agreement with the Department of Homeland Security that requires a routine presence at various DHS components with differing levels of clearance needed to access space.

Bialek is open to exploring additional levels of clearance needed to service this important opportunity as well.

6. Do you have cleared Program Manager(s), Interior Designer(s), and/or Project Manager(s) or the ability to recruit personnel into these roles capable of obtaining a clearance? If you currently have cleared personnel please provide additional information and metrics on personnel with your company.

As stated above, our staff members, including all the roles outlined above, often operate in secure spaces for our federal customers. If a specific clearance is required, we will certainly take the necessary steps to hire the appropriate profile and/or secure it with one of our existing employees to ensure we can meet all levels of service required.

7. Does your company have sufficient management, design, and installation personnel to support this contract that are U.S. citizens?

Yes, our approach to similar accounts in the past has been to assign a program management lead, project manager and given the overall size and scope of the proposed contract, multiple designers. In addition, Bialek has a unique department in house, called Client Services. We assign a client services coordinator to your projects that is responsible for all quote generation, discounting and order placement, in coordination with design. This critical role ensures that we are in constant communication with the factory, allowing us to hit your critical timeframes in a timely manner.

8. Most anticipated projects will be fast-track in nature and the ability to provide responsive service is critical. Please confirm your company’s ability to meet the following response timelines.

We can comply with the proposed timeframes for turnaround with no issue. As we will have a core team assigned to this account, we can also be flexible in providing quicker turnaround if needed should a project be fast-tracked.
